I think "never let go" means never let go of the past but also to show respect for the wars going on now.
I do have what it takes because my grandad was a British navy man he had a very dangers job he had to hook the plane as it was landing he says that was one of the most dangers job he is lucky his head dead not get chopped off.
Never let go I think it means that you should help out and don't give up
I don't have what it takes because I'm to young and scrony I haven its to fight for other people's lives like all of those soldiers who have died for those little kids I wish I could have those guts but I don't. I look up to my uncle who go and help fight. that's why I think I don't have what it takes to to go fight in war.

I'm not sure if I have what it takes to put my life on the line because I will never be as brave as our solders. But if I had to and it was an emergency than I proably would fight for our country.
I think I don't have what it takes to go to war because you have to leave your friends, family and you also are surrounded by gun fires, bombs and people suffering from wounds everyday.I think what it means by "never let go" is don't let go from your family when you're fighting in the war. And never give up.

I think the meaning of 'never let go' is that we say goodbye to people who had sacrificed their life to save strangers, to soldiers, to our grandparents, maybe even ancestors, they die and their parents or their children have to say goodbye to them, wishing they were alive, but no matter what, they will always remember in their mind. They will never let go, they will be always living in their heart, and i think that's what the meaning of 'never let go'.
My uncle got transferred to British Columbia last year and I kinda miss him. He's in the navy and he some times helps on land. My uncle comes back for Christmas but I still don't get to see him as much as I use to.

Jessica & Sydney, I don't think I would have what it takes. I would be too scared and I would be saw watching all the kids who live through war everyday. I think Never Let Go means that one day hopefully we will live in a world that is peaceful, not full of war and hatred.
I think the meaning of never let go. Means that you should never let go of the memories of your family and let those happy thoughts be motivated to keep fighting for our country. And also never give up.

I don't know if I would have what it takes. I would always be asking myself, "What would my family think if I died? Why are these people here? If they're here because they don't care if they live or die, are they worth saving over somebody who absolutely doesn't want to die?" Things like that would drive me insane.
In this song, I get the feeling that they aren't talking about holding onto life. I think that they are talking about holding on to being that person, the one who takes less then they give, holds there head high no matter what, and is willing to sacrifice themselves for somebody else. Duty comes first. They could also be memories that people are holding onto. The soldiers hold on to memories of their families and their families will always remember them.
I don't really have what it takes because the soldiers who go out and fight for our country are really brave and want our Land to be free and not be forced to do something and also I'm only 12 so I won't be able to carry a gun. I think it means that it means that you can never give up in life with either fighting for your country or fending for your self and if you give up in war then you'll die
